About

Gummow and Sons, Inc. was originally founded by Bob Gummow in 2000 as Water-Trol. Bob started Water-Trol after 27 years experience with J.A. Sexauer as a top 10 salesman and another 4 years working for Samuel Hurwitz. He realized that his extensive knowledge of the plumbing industry would be put to better use if he could run and operate his own supply company.

14 years later, Bob’s son Andrew came on board and the name officially changed to Gummow and Sons, Inc. With Bob, Andrew, and Bob’s wife Jana - Gummow and Sons is truly a family owned and operated company. Bob also has another son in the wings who is waiting to join the family business.

Gummow and Sons started out as go to plumbing supply company for hard to find parts within the Greater Boston area. But as the company has grown, Gummow and Son’s evolved into a full service plumbing supplier offering a wide variety of products - not just specialty items.

With 40 years experience, Bob Gummow realized that his customers rely on him for his expertise and his ability to solve any problem. They appreciate Bob’s personal approach to customer service and count on him to hunt down the hardest to find parts. While other plumbing supply companies offer generic products and inconsistent service with long response times, Bob provides extensive knowledge and personalized quotes.

In their pursuit to provide quality answers and plumbing supply solutions to customers, Gummow and Sons has worked with many different industries and professionals. From large facilities departments servicing universities and corporate offices to a single janitor trying to repair a broken faucet, they help all of their customers find the right part or product that they need.

At Gummow and Sons, Bob and Andrew have the answers to your specific plumbing question - no matter how big or small the problem may be. Whether you are looking to replace an old flush valve or outfit a new facility with top of the line faucets, Gummow and Sons will help you locate and source the plumbing supplies you need.
